I was born in Berwick Pennsylvania. Served in the Air Force . Went to Penn State for a number of years. Worked for the Dupont Company at the experimental station in Henry Clay, Delaware. Met my wife and was married in 1956. I went to work with the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller/Data Systems Specialist. Retired in September of 1986. Worked five years for the Diversified International Sciences Corporation as a systems Engineer at the FAA Tech Center in Pomona, NJ. I was volunteering with the Texas Baptist Men Camp Builders pounding nails for the Lord and at one time sent an inquiry to Jaars asking for some information on serving as a volunteer. I received a note from Walter Baldwin of the Jaars Construction and Maintenance Department wanting to know if I would be interested in coming to the Jaars Center to help build the Counseling Center. I responded in the affirmative and soon after, my wife and I arrived at the Jarrs Center in October 2000 and I started on the Counseling Center about the 14th of October. Worked in CAM for about a year or so, the Computer Department for a few months testing the LPD Program, spent five months in Papua, New Guinea as a Purchaser in CAM.

I have a Private Pilot's License (not current). Like fishing (especially in Alaska where I lived for 14 years). I do go back at times. My wife's name is Elaine, her amateur radio call is KG4WUO. She volunteers in the PR Department as a tour guide and also volunteers at the Mexico Museum. We have five children, 10 grandchildren, and a pair of twin great grandchildren arriving in July.
