My Wife Ruth and I are Missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators Inc. My Equipment Page: www.duries.com/DurieElectronics.htm

We are serving at JAARS INC the Technical Center in Waxhaw NC.   We train and evaluate technical people here such as Pilots, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Radio Repairmen, Computer programmers, Construction and Maintenance people, Computer Repairmen, and Network people etc. Just about any Technical discipline can be used in Missions these days.

I work in Computer Sales IT Support providing technical help with the orders that come into us from missionaries all over the world. We do not stock any items and we buy all new items on the Internet. We have over 5000 missionaries on this Secure Ordering System.

e-Mail has taken the place of Ham Radio for communications but we still use and depend on Ham Radio for Emergency communications. We also use Ham Radio as a development platform for HF/VHF e-Mail from locations where there are NO Telephone lines.
