Repeater Information

The K4WBT 2-meter repeater is part of the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES). The Union County ARES net is held each Wednesday at 8:30pm on 145.39 - offset and 94.8Hz tone.

We are also connected with Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES). We provide emergency services for the Western half of Union County as a liason to the Union County Amateur Radio Service (UCARS) Monroe group.

The repeater is battery backed up in the event of short power failures, and generator backed up in the event of long power failures.
